A shoulder ultrasound scan is a non-invasive imaging procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images of the shoulder joint and surrounding soft tissues. This scan is commonly used to diagnose conditions such as rotator cuff tears, tendinitis, and bursitis.
Procedure: gel will be applied to your shoulder. A transducer will be moved over the area to capture images.
Duration: Typically takes about 20 minutes.
Post-Scan: No side effects; you can resume normal activities immediately.
